5 steps to $5k/mo

I’ve recently been obsessed with simplicity.

So I asked myself:

“What’s the fastest way with minimum effort that I can use to help you hit $5k/mo guaranteed?”

I sat with this for a bit.

And altho no system is perfect, I came up with something that I think almost everybody can use to hit $5k/mo in 3–6 months.

If you currently don’t have skills or an audience then it will take longer.

But if you already have a small-mid sized audience, here are the 5 steps I would take to add $5k/mo as fast as possible.

1. Competence + growth content

I would post 1 competence post and 2–4 growth posts per day.

Growth posts help you to grow your audience.

Competence posts help you to find the buyers in your audience.

Combine both to monetize your audience while you grow it.

2. Daily newsletter plugs

I would recommend to plug your newsletter below half your posts.

Under the competence post and under 1 or 2 of the growth posts.

This will help you to add newsletter subs every day.

3. Daily email

90%+ of income comes from email.

So write 1 email per day.

And have 1 offer below it.

Soft sell 80% of the time (in the PS) and hard sell 20% of the time (announcement and closing).

Vary between offers every week (HTO, workshops, courses etc.).

4. Host 2 monthly workshops

People pay money to alleviate pain so they can solve their problems and get the outcomes the want.

Your HTO solves all their problems in a particular area.

But it’s usually at least $1k/mo, and most people don’t have a lot of trust in others online.

That’s why you’ll host 2 monthly LT workshops.

This lowers the risk and increases the chance of getting people to trust and pay you.

5. Sell HTO via emails and workshops

You switch between selling your HTO and LTO offers in your emails.

You’ll also use workshops to convert LT customers into HT clients.

At the start and end of these workshops, you plug your HTO and you tell them how it can help them.

Then you massively overdeliver on the workshop.

This will help to convert about 20% (on average) of the customers into clients.

In this model, you only need:

• 2–5 tweets per day

• 1 email per day

• An email sign up page

• A daily email

• 2 monthly workshops

• A HT google doc offer

And you also need to optimize your profile and leave some comments.

But when you have this in place, all you need to do is create content, create workshops, and help your clients.

You only need 20 workshops customers and 3 clients to hit $5k/mo.

Which isn’t easy, but certainly doable.

If you already have a skill, an audience, and an email list then you can probably do this in only 90 days.
